Comments on the following.... fold pf, raise pf, cf the turn, cr the turn??PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (8 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is SB with J:diamond:, 8:heart:. 4 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.Flop: (3 SB) 6:diamond:, K:diamond:, J:spade: (3 players)Hero bets, BB calls, CO calls.Turn: (3 BB) 7:spade: (3 players)Hero bets, BB calls, CO calls.River: (6 BB) 6:club: (3 players)Hero checks, BB checks, CO checks.Final Pot: 6 BBResults in brown below: Hero has Jd 8h (two pair, jacks and sixes). BB has 9d 5d (one pair, sixes). CO has Kh Qs (two pair, kings and sixes). Outcome: CO wins 6 BB.

With the other players just calling should I have assumed to have the best hand? Should I have slowed down at the turn? How is betting out on the river a good option over the long run?TIA.

why?QT doesnt call. Diamond diamond doesnt call. Kings call and trips six' raises. The only thing you can hope for is a worse jack (your kicker is bad)or a small pair.fold preflop.

fold preflop.with only the CO if in you don't complete the SB with two sooted cards?
Only after you have lost everything, are you free to do anything.

even if it was suited, I'd still fold, because I'd need another player in the pot if I did hit my flush to be sure of being paid off

Fold preflop.Check raise flopOr turnBet through to the river since the bozos could've been on a diamond draw or a straight of some type.
