Did he just miss out out on this team or has he given up for now? As well what does it say for the league with so many teams changing hands this year?

Bettman would've stepped in and prevented them from selling to Basillie because Canada is not allowed to have another team.

Also TB is apparently one of the more successful "non-traditional" markets, Basillie wants a team that he can move.
