advice on recent hand...

It was a long night, had a bat beat in an awful $60 MTT so i was just playin a little 1/2 and came across this hand. My Question is how could i have maximized my proift more... and was just calling the river too p.ussy?? Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 9 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is BB with [Ts], [Qs]. Pre-flop and flop are fine.I like to try the check-raise on the turn since you hold the nut straight. The river makes a boat a possibility (if he was calling with 2 pair), so I may call it down on the river.Dev

He's first to act, so there's no 3-bet to call on the river unless he checks first. I think checking the river is a big mistake. Anything marginal gets to showdown for free.

I think you can get more from 3 betting it, cause the play can get capped. I don't doubt this donk utg would go along for the ride, he has so far for the entire hand
