drocpdp 0
Ok. Everyone knows how to calculate pot odds when you're looking for one card to complete your hand. Ex. You hold suited A K, flop is 2 of your suits, etc.Now here's the trick, and something i really could use as advice. What are/ how do you calculate the odds for when you need runners?Ex. You hold Ace of clubs and K of diamonds, flop comes 2 clubs and one rag. What are the odds that the next two cards (runners) will be 2 clubs to finish your flush draw? Thanks so much in advance. I understand the odds will be considerably less favorable, but am curious by how much and if there is a "handy " chart online somewhere.PLEASE I KNOW HOW TO CALCULATE POT ODDS WHEN YOU NEED ONE CARD TO COMPLETE YOUR HAND . SO DON'T SEND ME THIShttp://www.texasholdem-poker.com/odds_char...Display=DisplayPLEASE READ CAREFFFUULLLYYY MY POST!thanks,
Scott3705 0
I've heard before that runner runner of a suit is the equivalent of 1.5 outs on the flop. Just wondering if anyone else has heard that before.
Devilkin 0
I'll take a stab at it . . .The short answer comes from Sklanskys Low Limit Hold'em. Runner Runner flush = 1.5 outs roughly. You have three clubs already (post flop). That leaves 10 clubs left in the deck out of 47 cards unseenAssuming the club hits the turn, you need another club on the river. 9 clubs left in the deck out of 46 cards unseen.I calculate this as (10/47)*(9/46)= .041628, or 4.16% (Im going to round to 4% for easier calculations). In terms of odds, thats 4 out of 100 times you hit it, or 1 out of 25, or 24:1.Anyone, feel free to correct my math.Dev
dms26 3
The math looks right Dev, the odds are horrible for runner runner flushes and straights. So don't do it unless you're getting free cards.
