DWMREP 0
I think leading all the way is fine, especially when you hit the ace. I would have thouht the 87 guy was low (wtf could he have? he must have paired, which means he was playing something along the lines of 82x or 83x. If he had what you would think he had (a low) he would probably raise, and get the pots heads up or punish the King,l so I really like leading there. As for the river, I tend to check a little more, but, he doesn't have a low, and thats when you do most check calling. The only hand I can put him on that beats you is a diamond flush, his UTG limo and just call with a K makes it seem like trip diamonds. I don't think you can raise, but you got to call.On a side note, your opponents are TERRIBLE, ABC poker, keep it up, even though this hand may not have worked out for you. But if you didn't hit the trips, definatly slow down.
Ronda 0
I was wondering, did you end up calling, and what did he have?
JesterSB 0
I was wondering, did you end up calling, and what did he have? After I get a few more responses I'll let you know. What does he raise with on the river that I beat? The flush is an obvious one. Maybe a low trying to push my off my hand?
rog 0
I don't know what villain has, but I know I don't fold here getting 13:1. If trips are good for half 20% of the time, a call is good. Trips are good for half 20% if the time IMO here. Probably more like 50% of the time.
Frez 0
Wpw, I can't imagine what Seat 4 was on there that he folds on the river. Given that he has folded, seat 8 could be raising his weak low with a marginal high, trying to scare you out, but he shouldn't expect you to fold here for one more bet.I play this just the way you did, probably including swearing when he shows the flush.
