So I took a pic with Ty and his g/f and was wondering if you could help me lighten it at all? It came out way too dark (YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE TY!)

it is difficult to do much enhancement to a jpg image with such a low resolution, but here is one effort:
(jpg throws away your fine detail in the shadows that you want brought out. if you have an original larger bmp file then one could probably do a fair job of bringing out the details.)

It started getting really grainy and pixelated when I went much brighter then this ....
