the table seems tight.don't limp with small PP's in EP in tight games.other than that, don't worry about defending. it's a small pot, it's not worth it. who cares if he has nine-high?regardless, i think that if you thought you might have the best hand, it's better to check-call it down on the turn.aseem

maybe you're being to aggressive in too many small pots and not aggressive enough in too many big pots.this is an example of being too aggressive in a small pot with a marginal/weak hand.aseem

Fold on the flop raise.Folding pre-flop isn't terrible either as you won't have great odds to chase a set. But it's ok to call the raise preflop.Check/calling the flop isn't a bad idea. Betting probably is better, but the only reason to bet is to see where you are and clearly you are beat so fold it!Why did you bet the turn after being raised on the flop? lol. Why did you bet the river when a scare card comes? lol. Man...BY ALL MEANS if you bet the river in a heads up pot, You HAVE TO call a raise! JEEEEZ. How am I stuck at .5/1 and you are at 1/2???? lol. JK.People... if your hand isn't good enough to call 1 lousy big bet raise on the river.... CHECK/CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is common sense for even those of us with sub-Ape IQ's.

What's incorrect? You can't possibly say that his river bet/fold was correct. lol. I know for a fact that is incorrect strategy.

The river bet isn't horrible, he could get him to lay his hand down without a spade, Ace, or 7. And yes , folding to the raise on the end is fine.
