after reading daniels blog i was wondering exactly what stakes they played in the private game. my guess would be somewhere between 400-800 to 1000-2000. so he made anywhere from 1040000 to 2600000. thats a nice session. do yall think they played lower stakes or higher stakes.... he said they were big hollywood games and they could afford to lose the high stakes.

really??? just 100-200????? id think those rich hollywood guys would play higher than that..... o well maybe im wrong
400/800 or especially 1K/2K is very high stakes even for stinking rich people. HSP was 300/600 NLHE, and for some of the pros there that was the highest they'd ever played until then...

Hollywood Guys or not, chunking off 50 to 100k at a time is probably just about as much as they want to blow. They do look at it like gambling, not necessarily, an application of math and timed aggression. Even Hollywood Guys have a probably chunking off a mil or so.

Just because you are rich, doesn't mean you play the highest stakes. If Bill Gates played, he wouldn't go right to the big game even though he can afford to.

I think its safe to say that Kenny Tran is the best live NLHE cash game player in the world.
But , but that can't be.He doesn't play online so he can't be the best at any form of poker since we all know that the online players have perfected the game to such an extent that player's who don't play online can't possibly be the best.
