I'm not sure this is really a bad beat, as you played it totally different than I would have (not to say that my play would have been correct though, just a different way to play that would have hopefully eliminated the bad beat more times than not), as simply having the best hand pre-flop doesn't automatically constitute a bad beat. :D 8 players saw the flop, but you were the only raiser. Unless someone was slowplaying a higher pair than you, you have to consider your nines as good right now. After the flop, you bet, got raised, and then just called. You did nothing to define your hand as being able to beat what the board was currently showing unless someone already had two pair or trips. I think you must re-raise there, to give you an idea of where you sit. More times than not, I believe you will win the hand right there, and if not, you have helped build a pot that you would win later in the hand. In this particular case, you would have been re-raised or smooth-called. If he re-raised, you can fold right there (saving you a small bet), or call one more small bet to see if you improve (as you will most likely have to) on the turn. If he smooth-called, you get the turn card for free anyhow to hopefully improve, and if you don't, you check it down. With the turn card pairing the board in this case, you are done with the hand and fold to their bet, saving you a big bet.

You can see the same plays at 30/60

i tried to talk here about that program, the RNG , not to talk about when to accept all in without to see flop.
You can accept all in whenever you want, or whenever you feel lucky, but in virtual room's is not like in reality. In reality anything is possible... in virtual rooms you can be "the one" who knows the future, or who can change the future.

A drunk monkey can do as well as any sober human at a slot machine, but a drunk monkey isn't going to do very well at a video poker machine. Now, there are a lot of drunk moneys at Hold 'Em tables these days.We all know there is an element of luck in poker, but the outcomes are greatly influenced by choices the player makes. There are better and worse choices to be made based on a variety of variables. The better one is at evaluating those variables (like tells, odds, player style, position, etc) the more positive outcomes will result. Not every time, but more often over a span of time. This is a game where you can do everything right and still loose to a 2-out draw, but good judgment and emotional control tip the "luck" in your favor over time. This morning at Paradise Poker some guy got beat in a show down where the winner was playing a some bad hand with bottom pair and made trips at the river. Given the bets ahead of him he should have folded earlier, but he didn't and he got very lucky. Mike Caro says in DB's Super System 2 that you should compliment such wins and encourage the fish to try that again and again. The loser in that showdown made a fool of himself and went on tilt, when he should have simply seen that play as a sure sign of profits to come.Koroshiya. :-)

An excellent commentary by John Vorhaus countering suspicions that on-line poker is fixed or rigged in some way.http://www.pokerhelp...strategy-15.phpK

You were holding 9,9 and you didn't raise more than .25 ? One thing I've learnt is when your holding a fairly decent hand in a .25 game is to raise substantially, say to at least 1 - 1.50.
One thing you haven't learned is limit poker.
