Ako, Middle Stages Of Mtt

Recommended Posts

$8.80 MTT, still far away from bubble (actually "middle" stages isn't quite right, it was after about 1 1/2 hours of play, just felt longer for me. :club:)I had been playing very tight, card dead as usual and the big stacks didn't give me much space (lucky card racks), I had just made a big all-in semi-bluff against UTG the previous hand to gain ~1.500 chipsUTG+1 seemed to play tight as well - actually this was the first hand I noticed him playingCan I do anything but shove here?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Hero (t4420)UTG (t4337)UTG+1 (t4520)MP1 (t13005)MP2 (t18956)CO (t5235)Button (t6170)SB (t2630)Preflop: Hero is BB with Kheart.gif, Aspade.gif. UTG calls t200, UTG+1 raises to t800, 5 folds, Hero?

I don't think the info you have on these players is enough to not push here. While there is the possibility you are in tough, There is a greater chance you are in good shapr or flipping with hopefully some dead money in the pot. And since in middle stages, you can't have any excuse to ease up for ITM reasons. If you knew more about your opponents then it may change my decsion but even then, the push looks best to me.

Fairly obv shove IMO.As Zach so wonderfully once put it"RAISE IF YOU LIKE MONEY"Obviously can't raise to 2.2K and fold on a 884 flop or w/e so just shove it in.

Alright, thanks, I guess I just wanted some reassurance here. ;)I did push it all in and got called by UTG with A5s (!) and UTG with 66 (!!) and obviously bricked out like usual...ETA: both opponents insta-called btw, so maybe my table image wasn't quite as tight as I thought it was. :club:
