So... Villain is 28/22/infinity after 100 hands. P.S. I raise 44 here 98% of the time. I limped because I wanted to see a flop, without having to fold if I got 3-bet. lol looks like I should've raised. Oh well. Anyway, playing draws aggressively is something I've been trying to incorporate in my game. How do you guys play this hand on the flop?

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($101.90)
SB ($146.55)
BB ($101.50)
UTG ($100)
MP ($97.40)
CO ($569.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 4, 4.
1 fold, MP calls $1, 1 fold, Hero calls $1, SB completes, BB raises to $7, MP folds, Hero calls $5, SB folds.

Flop: ($15) 5, 3, 2 (2 players)
BB bets $9, Hero raises to $27, BB raises to $104.5 (All-In), Hero calls $68.50.

Turn: ($206) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($206) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $206

flop play is good if villain has shown a propensity to bet this kind of flop with just two big cards, and based on the numbers it seems like it's possible

btw i raise pf 99.9% of the time here i think

Nice to see that for a change, right? icon_biggrin.gif

But seriously, I'm kind of wondering if we really like my play in the original post. Obviously, I priced myself in with the size of my raise on the flop. Is it really a good thing when the action ends up with me putting an entire stack in with what seems to be a 10 out situation?

Cause that makes a difference?

When you feel you can move him off the hand, it's alright to try in a spot like this when you have 10 outs (Makes you a 40/60). Obviously you were wrong, because it certainly seems like he had an overpair, but even once you get it in thats fine because its very nearly a coinflip. The number of times he winds up folding to your raise and number of times you get it all in and win vs. getting it all in and lose is most likely +EV.
