Stt, Qq Facing Shove And Re-shove

Recommended Posts

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)MP (t2565)Button (t1385)SB (t2172)BB (t3590)Hero (t3788)Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q :D , Q :club: . Hero raises to t600, 2 folds, SB raises to t2172, BB raises to t3590, Hero???My image is fairly aggressive, I had raised the last 2 hands and taken down blinds, so when the shorty shoved I was insta-calling, but the re-shovel by the big stack scares me, I have to think best case i'm looking to dodge aces and kings, and worst case I'm a huge dog to AA or KK.

5 handed I don't think I can fold here.. You basically guarantee yourself 1st if you win this pot and I'd have to think theres a good chance they are duplicating each others outs

yuck...i really don't know, this is pretty close...i think i would probably call here since they are both short-stacked and could be moving with less of a hand than they would otherwise, but it sickens me to do so considering you will definitely see A-A or K-K from one of them a lot of the time here

BB is 2nd in chips and SB still has an M of almost 10...BB surely has a big hand here, pushing over an UTG raise (by the chip leader) and the SB push, although often that "big hand" will be AK.

Insta-call!This is a beautiful spot in my opinion. SBs range is hard to pin down, he could be on a complete bluff or have a naked ace/lower pocket pair and BB could easily be isolating with a hand like 88+, AQ or something. If you just have to dodge aces and kings, then you are getting amazing odds to do so, but you could be in a much better position than that here. And if one of them has AA or KK it is a cooler, shrug it off and open a new STT.This is not deepstacked enough to pass with QQ here.

perhaps you're right about the BB being stronger than i think, but the SB doesn't have enough chips to be waiting for A-A and K-K in this spot every time

Big stack has a big hand but not as big as yours. Call.
Your probably ahead most of the time here and with all the money in the pot and the fact that its 5 handed a call is profitable in the long run unless the BB is a super nit. I would probably strongly consider folding JJ in this spot barring reads mainly on the last shoveler and TT would be gone in a heartbeat but QQ is a call IMO

I wanted to call, but I felt like I could get my money in in a better spot, really I was playing a little scared, which isn't like me, it wouldn't have been that bad to get knocked out here. Oh well, ya'll were right, I had them both dominated.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)MP (t2565)Button (t1385)SB (t2172)BB (t3590)Hero (t3788)Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q :D , Q :club: .
