It would probably depend on the trick. Anybody can do the ruffle nowadays.

Except for me...I think tricks are overrated, if you cant play you will lose, no matter how many tricks you know, and if you can play you will win anyway. I bust 10/20 live games regularly, and I can barely stack my chips properly, much less shuffle or roll chips. I'd much rather spend my time analyzing my play or making money.Anyone with a little dexterity can do a chip trick...playing poker takes balls and brains, nothing more nothng less. I show no added respect to someone who can roll a chip, if they play well I respect them no matter what.

It might be indicative of a little more experience at the table.That, or that you watch too many online videos trying to look cool.Either way, a few hands' worth of information is far more valuable.

I am finding that performing repetitive actions with chips helps me reach kind of a meditative state. It serves as a "mantra" of sorts, giving me a simple repetition of action which calms me, and helps me relax and focus.Koroshiya
