fitzinabox 0
good starting hand but u really need to catch a 2 or 3 there to make it a powerful hand. Looks like u were crushed am i right? on 5th when he caught a 2 for A27 showing and u caught an 8 for a 589 board u probably should of folded there But i know razz is all about chasing and whatnot... U lsot the hand right?? BTW i am no razz expert but do play it a good bit
aadams_22 3
3rd: good play imo, although a 2 and a 3 are now gone so are two cards that can pair you up later4th: I have no problem with the call, but be ready to fold 5th if you don't catch well5th: you didn't catch well, he caught very well, and the bets double on 5th street...I fold here good starting hand but u really need to catch a 2 or 3 there to make it a powerful hand. sabes99 0
fold on 5...the way he played this hand, it looks like to me your draw isn't even to the winning hand, he could have a made 7 already...even if the 2 paired him, then you're only a small favorite over his 7 draw

aadams_22 3
o rly people dont chase cards in razz?? thats news to meI didn't say that, I was rebutting your assertion that the premise of "Razz is all about chasing and whatnot," which is innately asinine. There is a lot of skill and hand reading ability involved in the game. Only the long time losers continually chase hands. The ones who win at the game know when to let a hand go, know what helpful cards are gone, and know how many outs they have to make their hand. That's not to say that they won't chase a hand now and then, but it's the exception and not the rule.
JesterSB 0
Okay, it's been long enough to give results...I only called down because this is .50/1 and the players can be really nitty. He ended up showing an 8-7 and my 8-6 was good. I was pretty sure I was supposed to fold on 5th, but I got lucky. After not folding 5th, I have to call down with the 8-6 right? I am getting 7-1 and 9-1 on 6th and 7th.
