This hand happened a long time ago at my 1/2 game. I was't involved, but it was between two of the biggest stacks and best players. I'll give names just because player A/B stuff can get confusing. I don't remember exact stacks, so I will give estimates.Stacks:Scott ($~400)Scott has a solid LAG image. He plays and raises lots of pots, but if it gets to showdown, he seldom shows up with a weak hand. Knows how to play position and weak players extremely well.Forrest ($~350)Forrest, like Scott is LAG, but his bets and raises PF are very big. He almost always raises LP/button, and likes to 3-bet PF with a wide range when he senses weakness. Very capable of mixing up play, very good at concealing hands and playing deceptively.Scott is in the BBForrest has the button with (Ad Ah)2 MP players limp, Forrest raises to $14, and it folds to Scott in the BB who calls. the AA is way under repped here. I would almost never check that flop and if I did, I would not be folding on the turn. Once the river comes, I'm shoveling. We are no longer losing to 5s full or 8s full like we might have been on the turn. We have the BEST full house and are only beaten by quads. If he has 9x, he's gonna get paid because I think you're missing too much value if you're not raising this river.

You don't think the pot is big enough to merit flat calling? I think we both agree that we can't dump the river after the last nine hits. Do you think raising will result in being called by weaker hands here?

The Zeebo Theorem says he's never folding a full house, so, yeah, I think he's calling with worse hands. As for the pot size, that shouldn't matter. It's whether or not we think we have the best hand and whether or not we think he'll call with worse. He's probably pretty sure we don't have quads and we haven't played it like AA either, so he'll definitely call with weaker hands.

What hand does Scott play this way that is weaker? 1010-QQ? I think it would be odd for both of them to check overpairs on an all unders flop, even if it's coordinated. Both hands are very concealed, IMO.

Why did he check behind on that flop? I push the river every time.
