PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is MP3 with [As], [Kh]. 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, Hero calls, CO calls.Flop: (17.40 SB) [2c], [Ad], [Ac] (5 players)UTG+2 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, UTG+2 folds, MP2 calls, Hero calls.Button 3-bets preflop, then caps this flop. He's a little loose, so any AK-AJ is possible. Guessing the others are on draws, flush is the most likely.Turn: (16.20 BB) [Qd] (3 players)MP2 checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, Hero calls.Well, he caps again. Was I was completely right in 3 betting this?River: (28.20 BB) [Jc] (3 players)MP2 checks, Hero checks, Button checks.Final Pot: 28.20 BBMP2 was obviously on a draw, and the most likely was a flush draw (who'd go this far with a gutshot), so I figure his check is begging for another round of raise/raise. The button has me worried, because I put him on 3 hands on the flop, 2 of which have me beat and one that splits the pot. Now, I'm confident checking down here was wise, please let me know if it was a bad play. My question is this: If button bet behind me and MP2 raised, would I have to let go of the hand, knowing it will probably cost me 4BB to see, or would calling it down no matter what be in order here?

I think checking through the river is okay... I don't like giving fishies the satisfaction of making their hand on the river and then attempting a check raise. If it were any other card, I think I'd cap the river again and just pray my opponent doesn't have a boat. When you think about his possible holdings here, you're either splitting or beat badly. The preflop three bet and continued aggression screams, ak, aq, or qq. I think you're probably praying for a split here. IMO you're either splitting or beat. But since he checked through the river, flush takes it?

Still, the question remains.. If I checked, button had bet and MP2 raised, what would you do? Call it down, even though it will likely cost 4BB?

I dont think its a split pot.
If its not a split then MP-whatever wins with his flush.

right. But what flush can you put him on here?KQs really seems the only viable option unless he is a fool.and i think he leads the turn with that hand.you might be right, its probably split
