That looks like a defensive bet to me. My guess is that he has a flush. However, some people like to bet a little bit on the turn with their monster and pot the river. I'd call and hope to boat up on the river. If he checks or makes another small bet on the river, raise him. He will more than likely have to fold his flush.

agree w/ everything.i think it's his small bet here which means that we can take one off. if he bets bigger (relative to his stack size) i think he may hate call a river. fwiw, i'm more likely to bluff-raise a small river bet if i feel he can get away from it than i am to bet when checked to.

yep.a check is inviting a bet, while a small lead is hoping to see SD even more cheaply. The check(er) decides he'll "let you take a stab at his weakness", while a weak lead, says "you got a strong hand...ok, show me with a raise, otherwise, I valuetown your *** here."btw, Navy, we cool, yes?

Can't he have the other queen using the scare card on turn to take a cheap card looking to boat up on river? I am giving him the chance by flat-calling.
