Books Specifically For Online Tourneys

Recommended Posts

Hey, what do you guys recommend for books concerning online tourney skillzzzzz. I recently have realized that my cash game knowledge far outweighs my tourney knowledge. I want to start getting into tournaments within the next few weeks but want to read a book with advanced strat for online tournaments. I have read Harrington on Hold 'Em volume 2 already and still own it so leave that one out. I mean seriously there has got to be something specifically for online donkaments or at least something that directly relates to it. Let me know fellas. I will be at work for the next 5 hours so go at it.P.S.-Admin, please don't bump this to poker books forum cuz about 1 person a year looks in there.double p.s.-chrozzo, I heart you.Edit: Contribute good answers and my growing fame for pics with chicks making out will go wayyyyyy up, if ya know what I mean.

Has anyone read Scott Fischman's book? I like his question/answer column on cardplayer, he seems to be a decent writer and good at explaining things.

I have. It's a decent book, nothing earth shattering in there but good info.

His book is pretty good, but if you've been playing for a good while, it might not be as beneficial as if you were a beginner

You don't really need a book to help your game. The best way is to learn from your mistakes. Books can only help you play in a handful of situations. Just play as much as you can and review your play and your opponents to see where you made mistakes or made good decisions. Seriously, there is only so much you can read but if you don't have the skill and put in the hours it will all just be a waste of time.

For the record, Bryan Micon is not Eric Molina.
Ok, so is he the guy who got second in the "Biggest ****** in the Universe Contest"? Seriously, I have no clue who the guy is.

Killer Poker Online, I've read #2, it totally revolutionized my tourney play, especially HU. Good read too, vorhaus is smart and entertaining.
