jjgoldy5 0
AK88 OTB vs aggressive villain who got all in for 120 BBs with AK26 no suits on a K 7 9 2 board against a gut shot / flush draw.I have ~90$, villain coversVillain raises pot preflop like he has done each of the last 30 hands or so. I call in position, blinds fold.Flop is Q 8 2 with 2 diamonds. He bets pot, I'm torn between raising 1/3 of my stack here and calling and letting him hang himself further and overshoving a safe turn. I decide to smooth call to try to avoid an awkward turn where I have comitted a large chunk of my stack to a hand I'm lost on. (pot 20$)Turn is T (non diamond)He bets pot again and by this point, I'm fairly certain he is fond of his hand. Now this is where I'm confused - this isn't exactly a "safe" turn card, if he was betting the 9TJx straight draw, but it's not hideous either. Shove here? Instead, I smooth call, and a diamond hits the river, he shoves and by this point, its an obvious fold.Hellllllllp.
BudBundy 0
It is an awkard situation. Against an opponent like that i prefer repotting flop.I'd probably put him on an overpair with flush draw or two pairs.I am for repotting flop. But if you cautiously call flop , on turn ; Fold>Raise>Disconnect>Turn off the computer>Watch interracial porn>Drink green tea>Study all night and miss the exam cus you fell asleep on your desk>Call

It so obviously should be:Watch interracial porn>Close the poker software>Turn off the computer>Drink green tea>Study all night and miss the exam cus you overslept
BudBundy 0
Watch interracial porn>Close the poker software>Turn off the computer>Drink green tea>Study all night and miss the exam cus you oversleptHmm.In that order , it certainly makes more sense.I have to add this because some may not know this , all these lists start with one permanent action as in ; Lesbian Porn>Fold>Raise>Disconnect>Turn off the computer>Watch interracial porn>Drink green tea>Study all night and miss the exam cus you fell asleep on your desk>Call .We don't mention it all the time because it is always there and above everything. simo_8ball 1
Well yeah, that's blatantly obvious. But if we replied Lesbian Porn to everything, the strat forums would be dead, and noone would play poker.

sabes99 0
not raising the flop is really bad imo, if you raise he's going to play back at you it looks like with almost anything

How much money does a repot on flop leaves us on turn and how big will the pot be?
