This is one of those hands where on the river you can make a case of using any of your three available options. I had only been at this table for about a round of hands. - I don't really like the flat call preflop - you are in position in relation to the raiser, but there are still 5 players yet to act behind you (3 of which would have position on you postflop) and that is an uncomfortable spot with AQ, I'd re-raise to 300 or so.- On the flop I call too, that is just an expensive check in my mind, although you can probably take the pot away from him with a raise - would be a good play as well I think.- Turn: You finally hit your man, and your opponent hasn't really shown any strength postflop so far -> raise!- River: definately push all-in.Villain could have you beat here in several different ways, but if that is the case, it is your own fault for either letting him draw cheaply or for not defining his hand by putting in a raise somewhere. You look like you have a small/medium pair or something rather worthless like that in this hand, and then you hit your jackpot on the river - play accordingly. Top two pair is as much as you could have hoped to catch here, or what were you waiting for?

I like the call preflop. AQ is a nice hand to see a flop with, and it would suck if he shoved and you had to fold. You also lose less if someone wakes up with a big hand behind you.I call the flop too. 3-flush and 2 overs is good enough to peel with.I like the turn call. If you raise he folds all worse hands and shoves all better ones.I just call the river. It looks like he has JJ, and he definitely seems to like his hand. I think you see a set a fair % of the time here, although AJ or AK aren't out of the question.This is an example of a hand where playing passive isn't a bad line at all.

I raised all in on the river, he insta-calls and flips over JJ. Looking back at his betting pattern, he has nothing or close to the nuts and I should have definitely just called the river bet.
