aucu 3
I understand that 3D is a swingy game, but wow have I been going through some massive swings.-40BB then +60BB over only 112 hands. Is this out of line or normal?

sabes99 0
I guess he means 2-7 triple draw?yeaand i wouldn't worry about bankroll swings in such a small sample, i'd worry more about the cause of it if you weren't comfortable with it...like are you playing too many hands? drawing too often? wsox8 10
I've got to learn how to play this.
navybuttons 16
i heard that the best TD player who posts on this forum regularly goes through 80+ BB swings in a session.i wouldn't be surprised if someone had a huge database, figured out their standard deviation and calculated that you needed a 500BB+ bankroll to be adequate. TB17 0
I was told that you probably need a roll that is comparable to a standard SHLHE roll, the swings are about the same.

mamaboy 0
Thats pretty much why I quit this game and SHLHE.SHLHE = shorthanded limit holdem?if SHLHE has big swing, then SH NL would be worse~

checkymcfold 0
if you're playing good players and can snow fairly often successfully, 2-7 is the highest variance game out there. AINEC. i regularly have 200BB swings in a day or two when i'm playing it as my main game.

Just starting to play and it seems that it is game where alot of the players lack good fundamentals so I was thinking it may be higher than other limit games.
Iwu4u 0
I have huge swings in the game myself and ive been playing for years. The funny thing is that I have found there to be less swings when I'm playing heads up. Maybe thats because im a good hu player but I think it might be a reality that there are less swings hu in this game.
aucu 3
Just started with SHLH, put in about 3000 hands, it's swingy but not as swingy as 3Draw
