He reminds me of Melvin Udall from "As Good As It Gets."Now I find out he writes romance novels - as did Mr. Udall. One of the best quotes of the movies comes when the receptionist (female) at his publisher's office asks him how he "writes women" so well and Udall replies, "I think of a man . . . and take away all reason and accountability."Now THAT sounds like Smash!!And all this time I thought he was a poker player.

When I heard smash was a romance novelist, it didn't surprise me. Kinda reminds me of a disgusting, hygenically challeged woman doing phone sex.
