a few days ago someone on this forum said that he cleans up after the peep shows. I myself feel inclined to believe just that.

He reminds me of Melvin Udall from "As Good As It Gets."Now I find out he writes romance novels - as did Mr. Udall. One of the best quotes of the movies comes when the receptionist (female) at his publisher's office asks him how he "writes women" so well and Udall replies, "I think of a man . . . and take away all reason and accountability."Now THAT sounds like Smash!!And all this time I thought he was a poker player.

When I heard smash was a romance novelist, it didn't surprise me. Kinda reminds me of a disgusting, hygenically challeged woman doing phone sex. Possibly a bad analogy, but I imagine a romantic night at the casa de smasheroo going a little something like this:smasherette: "Hey honey are you ready to go out and have a nice romantic dinner?"smasheroo: "Give me an hour, I'm verbally assaulting some teenagers on FCP at the moment." These tools brought a toothpick to a gunfight, don't they know who I am?smasherette: "But you said that over an hour ago and it's getting late, c'mon sweetiepie, I'm all dressed and ready to go."smasheroo: "Um Hi. You're wrong. I said I "might" be ready in an hour, but I'm clearly not. Your conversational comprehension skills are slipping again. Come back and talk to me when you can actually understand what I'm saying" smasherette: "No need to get nasty snookums, I'm just really excited about a night out with my main hello kitty, I mean, man. If we go right now, I'll shower you with adoration and stroke more than your ego later."smasheroo: "Well, let's see, while I lambaste half the FCPers, the other half are worshiping me, so I have enough adoration right here. Since you are wearing your glasses I assume you can see that my right hand is working just fine, so I can take care of the rest myself, but thanks for offering. Order a pizza, you should just be happy to be in the same room with me."smasherette: "I can't believe I let you talk to me like that all the time."smasheroo: "Can you believe this? I'm moving out!!!"smasherette: "Not really, you said that last week..."
