Napa_Don 688
can ftwi feel i have to drink pop a lot faster in the bottle or from a fountain as it tends to go flat before i can finish it and i refuse to drink flat pop. a can is about the perfect amount
David_Nicoson 1
I buy soda in 2-liters mostly for the economics. I like it best in the can, though. When I'm hot and the can is cold, the metal conducts the heat away in a pleasant way.Fountain drinks are of uneven quality, because the mix can be wrong.

aucu 3
1. glass bottles2. cans3. plastic bottles4. fountainMost of the pop down here is still in glass, but they don't let you take the bottle. What you get is the pop "to go" poured into a plastic bag with a straw.

BigDMcGee 3,367
Glass bottle was the only way to drink mountain dew when I was a kid.. it's just not the same.. pop is also much better with cane sugar rather than corn syrup. Soda just ain't what it used to be. I hate drinking pop out of a can, I will always pour into a glass if I have the option.

RhinestoneCowboy 2
This would be a much better topic if we were discussing beer.
CobaltBlue 662
My soft drink of choice is Mountain Dew, which I prefer from a can, though I'm not opposed to it in other methods of beverage delivery. However, my preference for cans doesn't hold true across the board. I like Sprite/7-Up, but I hate them from a can...nor do I like them much from bottles. They taste different for some reason. Gotta go fountain with ice.As for the colas, I don't have a strong preference...though I did pick up the European habit of drinking them cold in a glass sans ice.

Beer on tap, FTMFW.The only variable would be the beer.Guiness... a cool 63 degrees. In a room temperature pint glass.Bud and the like... freezing ass cold almost icy in a frozen mug.
