timwakefield 69
No special read on villain, I think he's been playing pretty tight but I haven't been seated with him for too long. About 20 players left in the 55k guaranteed $10 rebuy. The one thing I know about villain is that I have not seen him open push this stack yet (I think he was short and doubled up like 15 hands ago). This is a fairly standard call?Poker StarsNo Limit Holdem TournamentBlinds: t15000/t30000(Ante: t1500)7 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: t634476UTG+1: t145202MP1: t304048Hero: t341204Button: t716008SB: t453208BB: t715093Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is CO with 8 8 2 folds, MP1 raises all-in t302548, Hero
simo_8ball 1
I call and then probably lose to his AJ/AQ.
irishguy 14
I'm calling here. I'd rather be pushing then calling but I think given his stack size you are likely ahead of his range.
sabes99 0
that's pretty tough but you don't have enough chips to fold i don't think, if you want to win you gamble here
YBravo 0
Yeah, his range is wide enough to call here. Like you said, he's fairly short and his position is late enough.
Vandees 0
I'd fold that. Best case scenario, he pushed with a small pair. But realistically you're putting your tournament life on a coinflip, at worst you're calling $300K in a 4-1 hole. You have just your ante invested. Fold it and look for a better spot, ie one where you're the one pushing first.

Combined with the coin flips it stays 50/50. However, surely A7 A6 A5 is in his range, as is 76 suited and so on?Which would make is a call.in fact with 10BB any two might be his range (which we crush).

But this is one of those hands where I wanna be the one who shoves
