I really need to put in the hours this month. I don't think I've played more than 50 hours in a month since March.

At some point this month I want to sign up for click2pay and get some more money online.

well, I made 2600 last month only getting in 30K hands.

July goals:

* play 40K hands
* work my roll so that I'm playing 5/10 SHLHE full time by the end of the month
* try to maintain a winrate between 1.6-1.8 BB/100 at both 3/6 and 5/10
* make between 3-5K with winnings, rakeback, and bonii get factored in
* start posting more hands and posting more in the strat sections

Bring the BR up to 3k playing NL .50/1 6max
incomplete, and I didn't play much of that limit
Reach a final table
final tabled two 4.40/180s, now I just have to win one
work on HU play
played some HU but not enough to satisfy the goal
Find all the donks an drunks and take their money
did some of this in the late night

Started off the month playing NL .50/1 and went on a huge hot streak but that ended. Then I got frustrated with NL and moved over to limit. I found that this game was just as good and has many more fish than the NL.


EDIT: I also signed up for rakeback and it won't go into my account until the 15th but it should be at least $200.




July Goals

Profit at least 1K on AP

Get 4th or better in a 4.40/180 on Stars

Play 15k hands

At first my monetary goal was to make 5k but I punched in the #s and if I don't make 10k, I'm going to pretty damn annoyed as it implied either I'm worse than a 1bb/100 winner or I actually ran bad.

July I am going to grind out some bonus on Fulltilt, and play somewhere around 1500-1700 hands a day. I am hoping to make a couple grand.... I am going to build up my roll big enough so that I can head down to foxwoods and be rolled for the 1/2 $300 max.

My June goals were:

-Continue to play $4 180's until the BR is above 1k, and then i'll move up to the $10 ones.

-Get back to playing the 3R on Stars(i didnt play it at all this month, even though I profited well from it in previous months)
played it a few times, probably broke even on it

-Keep grinding $3 speed sng's on PartyPoker
i moved up to the $6 speed ones and i went from 80-->320...however I really only played them for the first 2 weeks of June

-Re-read HOH1 & 2 and finally get around to working through 3

i didnt achive this, I only profited about $220, but withdrew $100 of that for new headphones lol

So as you can see I didnt really do any of my goals. I was switching games way too often, trying to figure out what I really wanted to focus my time on.

I started with 6max .10/.25 and was 6-8tabling those games and played about 8k hands, and ended up being down a little bit. I know it's not a big enough sample but I decided 6max didn't really suit my play.

So then I went back to grinding MTT's, my best finish was 10th in the $8 tourney on Stars, for only $50 which was very disappointing(it was 2.2k for first). I went semi-deep in the $3 rebuy a couple times but not enough to satisfy me. I also managed to finish 7th in a $10 180man on stars, for $60~, again, not the finish I was hoping for

I then tried doing 9man turbo SNG's on stars which actually went pretty well and I made about $150 from it, but all those earnings got dumped back into MTT's and I lost most of it. So then I decided to just stick to the sngs and not play any MTT's and I was up $100 again, but then went on a 10game downswing and lost half of that.

Then I gave 50NL full ring a shot a few days ago and Ive been doing well so far, keeping in mind Ive only played 1k hands but I feel alot more comfortable in these than the 6max.

-Continue to play 50NL full ring, get in 20k hands and profit $500~

-Continue to play $6 speed sng's on party poker, and work the BR there up to around $500

I somehow met my goals (5-10k profit).

I finished up +$6.4k...played very little though...I got lucky to win a donkament, and then I won a few grand in cash.

I'm not sure if I'm going to commit to this now...but I'll just go ahead and post it.

I'd like to try and play between 30 and 40,000 hands of strictly HU play at 200nl. I think if I play this many hands I will be looking at a 75-100 buy-in month.

Not sure though, if I'll play that many hands. I really hardly played in June...but I know I could easily get 40k hands in if I really wanted to.

I think I'd have to run about 10ptbb/100.

But, If I do this, I will play a few satelittes for some EPTs...and the European main event.

I want to avoid donkaments this month, as they really are hit or miss and I've been running sick in them and I think a solid month of cash would be good for me....I'll probably still play a few donkaments but I really wanna concentrate on this goal here and see if I can do it.

June was an interesting month, I was in Mexico for the first 1/3 of the month, and was working about 3-4 days a week. I only played just under 30 hours of cash (7.7k hands) and 17 donkaments (only cashed in 1). I was:

Cash: +2,563
Tourney: +278
Rakeback: +335
Overall: A little over 3k month.




Goals for July:

*play 25,000 hands
*play longer sessions
*make $5k+

My June goal was to reverse my downswing and make up my losses from May.
I only managed to play 2.5k hands of .02/.04NL and made up a bit but then dropped back again.
I played 40 $3 SnG and results were as follows :

1st : 3
2nd : 11
3rd : 1
Bust : 25

This left me break even for SnG play.

A little frustrated I played 300 hands of .10/.25NL and won back my losses from June. Not the best idea but...

July Goals.

Keep Playing the $3 SnG on Party and see how I go.
Get an account with rakeback and max 1st deposit bonus on AP and play 10K hands 0f .10/.25NL.
Use PAHUD properly.

June goal was to profit $4k.. I fell just a bit short.. I won $3566 for the month. I played 96 hours and had 18 winning sessions and 6 losing sessions. My biggest winning session was +670 while my biggest losing session was only $340. I did a much better job this month of getting out of games when they weren't good or things weren't going well. From 06/07 to the end of the month I won in 12 straight sessions and 14 of my last 16. I kept most of my sessions short this month which is definetely a good thing but I have to make sure to play as long as possible when I'm running well and game conditions are good.

I now have $1k online to play $100 nl HU so hopefully that should allow me to have a 5k-6k a month. I'd like to get at least 100 hours live as well as about 20k HU hands.

-Maintain motivation through downswings and resume playing everyday.
Failed. I went through a terrible downswing the first week and took more time off to regain focus.

-Play 15k hands of 50 NLHE or higher.
Failed. Played 6,497 hands, though I played about 3,000 of them in the first 4 days of the month.

-Reach Gold Star on Stars. Would have reached it this month if not for my break.
Negative, still a silver star.

-Make at least 500.00
Failed again. Made 46.00 total, which is a profit at least after being down 150.

July Goals (let's try it again):

-Maintain motivation through downswings and resume playing everyday.

Result: failed.

Upside: I chopped one and came 2nd in another, and all in all had my most profitable month of poker ever, profiting ~10k.

July goal: win an mtt.

June another break-even month. Vegas was good, the 4-8 limit game with 1/2 kill at Rio was pretty sweet, but lost one big pot with Aces full to quads, I made it like 7 bets when I should have stopped earlier because the girl got all excited and said "no cap heads up right" but oh well.
July goal, get out of the break even playing and get BR up to 1800

Not waste money with incredibly fun Vegas trips.

Srsly though, I go home tomorrow, so I'll come back on Wednesday prolly with my goals.

I ended up making $2k+ online over like 7k hands, which is just silly. I plan on grinding my nuts off once I get home, so I hope to make $5k or so playing 3/6 and 5/10.

I'm also moving into my own (with my gf) apartment, so I'm finally accepting responsibility for paying rent, etc, which should make my life as a "professional" more stressful, demanding, etc.

But it's all cool.

I hate leaving Vegas, but I've been gone since Jan. 15th, so I'm happy to get back home with my GF and into the new apartment that I haven't even seen yet, lol.

Btw, I'm stuck a ton in Vegas cuz live poker is rigged.
