I observed some time ago that straights seem to come up more often than the lower-ranked trips. I was reading "Diary of a Mad Poker Player", and Richard Sparks mentioned that the hand rankings are based on a five card game, but in a seven card game straights are indeed more common than trips. Does this sound right? Koroshiya

No, because Straights are higher ranked, so they are rarer
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

the problem with this is that many times trips dont get to showdown. straights are much harder to see so they often get shown down.
