Snamuh 0
The main issue here is that your draw might not even be live despite the fact that he's giving you over 3.5:1. I generally hate playing draws on paired boards. Since you are out of position, I fold.
sennin 0
Alright, so in this situation, a check is better then betting I assume?
Snamuh 0
Alright, so in this situation, a check is better then betting I assume? You're second to act in a 5 way unraised pot. There's a decent chance someone hit that flop and you aren't going to drive them out by betting there. You are adding to a pot in which you will be acting out of position for the rest of the hand with little more than a semi-bluff. So yes, I'd check.
Webslayer 0
Do you have any read on him so far? I find the min raise is a little odd. In your position you very well could have a six. It feels like a "how good is your six" kinda raise. I don't figure him for much of an aggressive type. He'd raise more with a good six or the boat if he was. If I had the boat in his position, I'd just call trying to keep others in the hand to build the pot. If you did have the six, you are not going anywhere and won't stop betting. He wouldn't be losing value from you by just calling if that was the case. Without a bigger raise or just a call I don't put him on a boat here. Because of the weak raise, I really put him on a weak six. Maybe with a 3, 4, 7 or 8 kicker. If that's the case you are getting the odds to peel one off. Reevaluate the turn. You're hoping for a high club to hit. If it does, we are getting all in. If a weak club comes, I think about it and probably just check call. If you are wrong and the club boated him, it's not like it is costing you a whole lot. If you miss, I fold to any bet over $1.5.One thought in his raise, if it was an insta-raise like he was using the pre-action raise check box then I'd fold. My above analysis only applies if he thought about his hand for a moment. As for the flop bet. I don't mind a bet here. It defines everyone's hands. You just check and the button bets, you now have to call a bet with two people still to act after you and no good idea with what he has. I'd bet a draw, an over pair, or maybe even bluff if I was in his position and it was checked to me. By betting you figure out how good you draw really is. You may even take the pot down. You are in a blind position and people would have to give you credit for a six. Any over pair will be hard to call you and if they are on a draw you have them dominated. Short of having a six, there isn't a whole lot that can call you that you are afraid of. A six will raise you and tell you where your draw stands. At which point, reevaluate. sennin 0
I did not have any reads on this guy so I did not know what his minraise meant. He did not instantly do it, he took about 3 seconds to.Results:I decided to shove all in and he called with 88. So a club or an A was live for me, and I even picked up a gutshot str8 draw on the turn but it all bricked on the river. I probably should have just called to see the turn, against a deeper opponent I definitely would have.
Money022 0
As Snamuh said, I'd check the flop. With the way it was played I think pushing was fine if you're choosing to continue with the hand. I'm actually surprised to see 88 repop in a 5 way flop. That's pretty much a spew considering you could likely have trips and he's drawing to two outs.

You´d have to check and fold to any bet you don´t want to be paying.Do you have any read on him so far?Reads don´t help when you are out of position and holding nothing. You can have the best read in the world on somebody, but if he takes his standard bet from being in position with anything playable let´s say a 5, you´re only making it harder for yourself. This hand needs a draw. since you can´t beat a bluff.
simo_8ball 1
I agree with others that checking the flop is best. Try to complete your draw cheaply and then extract value. If it was less than 5 handed I wouldn't mind the lead. As played I think setting him allin is fine.
