I just watched the re-broadcast of the first episode. Kind of a mish-mish of other PI type shows (Macguyver and the equalizer sprang to mind quickly) but has enough differences to make it worthwhile. The lead carries off a dead pan sarcasm pretty well, which I find quite entertaining. All in all a pretty decent show, especially for summer fare. Hopefully, it'll have some legs.
Hank's tenure at Soulsuckers, INC, LLC, DBA TBD, had not been long, but it had been distinguished... By drunkenness, hair-trigger violence, and a total lack of performance. I would call it a steady decline in performance, but that would imply that he performed at one point in time. In fact he had not. He was drunk.

It's funny, that guy was in Hitch, and when I saw him in that I thought to myself he would play a great spy character. I love these kind of characters and thought the show was decent.

I used to have a massive crush on Gabrielle Anwar (back in the If Looks Could Kill, Scent of a Woman years), but she really looks like a truck hit her in this show. The accent isn't helping anything either, just irritating.

The show is pretty good though, I kinda like the whole "Spy by Numbers" aspect where he basically teaches us junior terrorists how to wreak havoc. Very MacGyver.

Any show that casts Bruce Campbell as the womanizing drunk is fine by me.

well she got rid of the accent in the second episode.

The only thing really annoying me about this show is the constant stop motion they use in every single shot. If they would lay off that little technique a bit I think it would flow a little better.

Tonight was probably the weakest ending I've seen on this show, but I still really like it. I hope it makes the cut.

Good show, I have high hopes for it, but it does have a week premise to say this ultra spy would stay locked to Miami and wait for his clues to the burn notice to come to him during spy conventions and such. Hope they drop this direction and get him to like the free lance side.

I haven't watched every episode because I'm too lazy to look up when it airs, but I saw the first two and liked it. I have no idea what they're talking about though when they do the spy stuff.

IIRC the reason he's staying in Miami was because they threatened his family if he didn't stay where they could keep an eye on him.

When is this coming back on? I think I remember hearing it was the highest rated USA show or highest in it's time slot or something.

It got picked up for a 13 episode second season, however the writers strike has pretty much put those plans on hold.

I just took a suggestion from someone and started watching this show this week. Of course, USA did me a solid and I've watched 6 episodes this week. I started off just so so on it, then by the middle of the second episode, I was hooked. Excellent show and I do like the spy by the numbers aspect.

Cool show

Had you not seen the first season? If not, I would highly recommend it.

I'm glad you dig it. I actually kind of thought you would since the lead has the sarcasm a la VM.

I tried to see if it was on USAnetwork.com and it wasn't. then, I drove to Blockbuster to rent it and they didn't have it either. I'll continue my search, but I don't want to buy it. I'm against buying any DVDs anymore. I will see these eps though
