Villain plays a bit weired, lets just say Loose/Agg preflop

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Preflop: Actuary is MP1 with Ad Th
3 folds, Actuary raises, 4 folds, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, Actuary calls.

Flop: (7 SB) Jd 7h As(2 players)
SB bets, Actuary calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 2s (2 players)
SB checks, Actuary checks.

River: (4.50 BB) 7d (2 players)
SB bets, Actuary calls.

Final Pot: 6.50 BB


Any comments?

Any reason for checking the turn? Does he like to c/r? Would he normally bet PP on the turn making you suspicious? Is this what you mean by weird.

For the hand I dont mind it. I would probably bet the turn but this may be good against a LAG goofball.

In agreement. I fyou find the villain odd or tricky, I wait for the river too.

Is it your goal to take every hand to showdown for as little as possible regardless of the strength of your hand and the information being presented to you?

How you don't bet this turn is beyond me.

Especially if he's a gambler, meaning he'll take one off lightly, and call down lightly right? Or even raise you with a worse hand. I bet/call turn and call river.

I don't think I risk much checking here.
I pick up some river bets I otherwise don't get on turn
I never pay 3 BB to see SD

I'm still cool with this

I've been know to c/r this with AK. I play wierd sometimes
