Maybe group a few (if they are similar in hands or tables)anyways, about this hand.if you are going to come over the top and raise preflop, make sure u bet the flop when he checks. i personally dont like coming over the top this much with AK, but you did so you need to bet the flop regardless.

Uh? He checked every street, and on the river you check behind? Value bet sir. Plus, then you don't have to show down AK on a huge 3-bet if he folds. I have no idea how there was that much in preflop and it was checked down. What - did you both show AK? If so, someone needs to teach you guys how to c-bet.

I bet the flop everytime as well, you are repping a big pair, you pretty much have to follow through on the flop. IMHO.Also post as many hands as you want. All of them have been well formated and reasonable questions.

Tournaments: AK = good hand to push allin with on a short stackCash games: AK is just a drawing hand, call the preflop raise and peel the flop. If you *do* reraise preflop (for example, to limit the number of players joining you on the flop when you're OOP in the BB) then it's a definite C-bet on that flop

Calling with AK in position isn't a bad play (nor is re-raising).Let me say this...very few people raise from the SB light in the presence of limpers. It's pretty rare that they won't have semblance of a decent hand. That said, I don't hate the re-raise as we shut out the limper and take control of the hand. However, when we do that, we absolutely need to c-bet this flop. This isn't limit where we're going to get check-raised constantly...he's going to miss the flop a lot and have to make a decision for a lot of chips. Yeah, we've got a gut-shot and overs, but with the paired/flushed board, it's not particularly valuable in the sense that we want to take free cards to hit. Finally, if we get checked all the way to the river, we've absolutely got to value bet. We've got the best hand almost always.
