I can't see laying it down for 3k more. I don't think AA bets the flop that hard. I'm thinking he has AT or a weaker flush.

You have to call, but just that. Flat call as there is no real value in re-raising to a 3rd bet on a paired board.

Pre I don't like the limp UTG but you I know are a better player than I.Flop After his min raise to an UTG limper and this big flop bet, I call because I have great feeling that villain has PP so flush should get that extra chips to make calling worthwhile.Turn check is fine. You are behind and I don't see him slowing to a 6 here ubless he wants you to bet or to call and catch up.River if you do not know villain, i can see the call here but doesn't this smell like a smarty pants with AA. Min raise after UTG limper. Big bet on flop to say, I don't want to be called, gives you chance to either bet out or catch up on turn, then a raise on the river but only for hlafish your chips.Seems like a trickster to me and you are burned, especially after the raise to a landed flush that you played like a flush draw.Without more info, I can see a fold BUT....... he either is very dumb, has huge berries or has AA in this spot. Of course this is only IMO. But being unknown, I probably call and say, " I knew you had me beat but I JUST HAD TO SEE IT "

With the paired board and the checks on the turn,,could you maybe have checked the river card to see what UTG would do?I mean,,pot was a decent size and if he bets big then you could call if you really wanted to see if your flush was good. His big raise on the river seems like he either had something or caught something.

Fold pre-flop, although I like the limp if you really, really, really want to play a trouble hand OOP. I think the flop is a decent spot for a check-raise with so many chips in the pot, although the success of this is based on how tight you've been playing. Turn is fine as played.Flat-call river.

Lol, well said. I decided to limp because the table was donktastic, with 4 or 5 limpers being fairly standard, but that still doesn't really make it a smart play. Thanks for the responses all!
