the table is pretty action packed.

So far they saw me 3bet and push the turn w/45d on a 4s 7d 9d jc board as well as me doubling up w/QQ after re-raising from BB and calling a shove postflop w/overpair.

stack sizes:
utg 6 or 700
bb 400
me: 1400 icon_dance.gif

utg limps - this is the guy who doubled me up when i had Qs (he had 9s)
folds to me on the button
i raise to 20 w/AsJd
sb calls
utg calls

Flop is Jc 8c 3s pot: 80ish
bb leads for $50 (he's kinda donkish, I'm pretty sure he's doing this w/either tp or fd)
utg calls
I raise to 175 total w/the intent of folding to utg's shove

bb folds, utg thinks and calls

turn is 5c pot: 400ish?
utg checks, and i bet 200 w/the intent of checking river and folding to a shove.

Despite this being an easier line for me to read villains, is checking the turn and evaluating the river a better play as I may induce a bet from tp worse kicker or a bluff?

What about the argument for image/metagame? That I'm going to bet flop n turn a lot/build big pots so people have to be ready to play big pots w/me? (whereas I'm obv. only calling if I feel i'm ahead)

A worse jack (KJ, QJ, TJ) will almost never bet the turn here, and the flush/straight draw will most likely check behind too. The only hands I really see putting in a bet behind you is 2 pair (not sure if this fits the utg's range), a set which is most likely to put in a bet, or a tricky opponent who floated behind with air (unlikely).

Mike is on button here. Guy checks to him on the turn.
