I lead out for 100. I don't like to get too fancy with the ignorant end of the straight, especially as there are a decent amount of scare cards that could kill river action.

This is a good hand to make or lose money on. Bet $200.

what do u put villain on?I hate having the assshole end of the straight. even if it is short handed. I think i bet around 100 here. if he raises, then i'm lost.I'm not sure if 3.5x BB is standard. it seems standard at 100NL and 200NL. So if thats the case, i could easily see KQ here. (AK would suck, and your reads on this guy would help a lot)

I bet around 125-160 here, a bigger bet here being better because we can get more of our money in on the river. An obvious holding that will probably pop into villain's mind when you lead out like this is a pair on the flop picking up a straight or a flush draw. No need to get tricky with the idiot straight. What's great is this board hits most of his likely holdings and the only hand that has you beat in that range is AK. So yeah, bet out, smile when he raises, and shove.

Heh. I think getting raised here often won't be a cause for smiling. :club:
