Mikey Ravioli 0
I was at Tryst at the Wynn Sunday the 13th and they were there. Being from NY, I knew it wasn't his wife, but they were not acting "couple-y". He was with her and two other guys and she looked like an assistant or something. He was at a table and girls were coming up to him all night and she never looked jealous or territorial.
Yoda 1
Well that too but, he cheated in the game ...it was a huge incidentOkay, I hate. HATE. The Yankees. But you're moronic team falled for "I got it!" from someone on the other team and let the ball drop. That's sad. Maple Leafs + Blue Jays = The Suck. Now when he knocked the ball out of Arroyo's glove, THAT was some cheatin.Edit: And making it even funnier - you can clearly see in the video he didn't even say "I got it"

He's one of the best players ever and makes more money than anyone in the history of sport, yet he still makes some sketchy bush league plays because he'll do anything to win. They'll do anything to win. Doing 'anything' to win is not commendable. Playing hard every day, and doing your best to help your team win is. I think ARod does that as well, and that is why he is one of the best players of all time.Plays like that are generally frowned upon for a reason. In this case, there's many obvious reasons not to do stuff like this.

Why is okay for someone like Gaylord Perry, who habitually doctored the baseball, to be in the hall of fame? Why is his cheating lovable, and steroid users evil? I love how baseball fans get on their high horse about the steroid era... how dare you? How dare you judge these people, when improving your performance in the sexiest of categories, the homerun, will lead to the most dramatic increase in their pay. Do you know how ridiculously tempting that would be? I love how people completely rip those guys, are the same people who were wetting themselves to praise mcquire when he and sosa " saved" baseball... anyone who thought, AT THE TIME, that Mac wasn't on steroids was a straight up fool.. his skin looked like it was about to burst off his body, he looked like a comic book villain. Dong what ever it takes to win, no matter if it's in the rules or not, has a long, long tradition in baseball, anyone who thinks different is just wearing rose colored glasses. Me, I loved the juiced ball era, and the video game-esque power stats people had... if people want to risk their lives to hit more homeruns, it's their choice.

There's something really cool about knowing that these meatheads are taking horrible drugs just so we'll pay $17 to watch balls go wizzing over our heads like a bunch of retards. I love it. Greenies and reds they call em. Uppers before the game, downers after.
speedz99 145
It's funny how performance enhancing drugs are the biggest problem in what is by far the laziest of all major sports.Great points by BDMG. I used to have fun ripping on friends when they said Sosa and Mac might not be juiced.

Greenies and reds they call em. Uppers before the game, downers after.I heard an interesting interview with Steve Phillips, who said that part of the reason alcoholism was so rampant in major league players is that they would get so amped up on speed, that they had to drink to come down to get to sleep after games.
