jmbreslin 0 Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 I just downloaded the trial version of SnGWIZ and I'm trying to figure out the best way to take advantage of it during the trial period. I've uploaded all my hand histories and I've been playing around with it a bit, but it's a bit overwhelming. Any advice? Link to post Share on other sites
James D 0 Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 I'd never heard about it.If it's just basically saying 'with this range of hand, push from this position' and 'with this hand, fold', I'm not sure it would be worth $99.I dunno, I don't think I'd want a program telling me what to do. I'm very happy with my SNG ROI, but the hh feature may be interesting depending on how it analyzes them.Let us know how you get on with it... I may download the trial version next time I go on a SNG barrage, just to see what it's like. I wouldn't be surprised if I've uninstalled the software within 10 minutes though, lol.Who wrote the actual program, do you know? Link to post Share on other sites

It's a great program but I'm just trying to figure out the best way to use it. I'm not a numbers guy, so what I'm trying to figure out is how to translate what you can do with SnGWIZ into rules that can be applied to game situations. Link to post Share on other sites

So far it looks like I'm playing the early-middle position ones pretty well, but most of my mistakes seem to be from not pushing (even with crap) when I'm on the button or in the SB.
