So this seems to be finding me a lot recently and I want some opinions. Say you are holding A 10 Suited. You bet Preflop and a guy raises a minimal amount. You call. Flop goes something like 10 5 4. You bet a little over the minimum bet and the other guy goes all in. That or maybe you check and the other guy goes all in. Do you call?

Likewise. TPTK is the nuts. Easy laydown, epecially considering the pre-flop re-raise. What do you beat here that he is re-raising before the flop with?

Depends:1. Who is the player, and how do you view them>Are they a tight player who does not bet or raise without a good hand, or a very loose/aggressive player who bluffs alot?2. Cash game or tournament?3. How deep are you, and what are the pot odds. Also, you bets are very weak. Easy to pick up on.

More money is lost on TPTK than any other poker hand in existence, including the krablar and the illustrious open-farrelled quads on the flop.HTHMonty

Reread this post. Often. Very sage observation. Why is this true? Because TPTK is generally the lowest hand people are willing to get all their money in with. Very few people want to be all-in with top pair, king kicker, (excepting the pair being aces or kings :club: ) but for some reason that ace kicker is MAGIC. Don't be seduced. If your opponent wants to play for everything, it ain't with middle pair, or with top pair hoping his kicker will hold.

I push my stack in and try to raise him my car after saying you must not like money.......but seriously it depends on the scenario...most times it's an easy fold...other times it's an obvious call...

The initial question is worded terribly. If this is a tournament where you have stack of 15 BB going into the hand, it playsc o m p l e t e l y differently than if it's a cash game where you have 50+. No one could possibly answer this question the way you phrased it (although plenty of people seem to think they can).

In the 0.25NL and 0.10NL rooms, this isn't always true. It's still not necessarily a call, but I've won more than I lose in the 0.10 rooms calling this, and it's close in the 0.25 room, although I susupect it's a net loser. In the 0.50 rooms, it's a BIG loser.
