Official Mt Rushmore Game Thread..

Recommended Posts

So, for those of you who don't know, the Mt Rushmore game is this.. a "Mt Rushmore" is the 4 definitive american presidents. Not necessarily the best, the smartest, the greats. Just the 4 definitive presidents. So the Mt Rushmore game is this.. someone (aka me) picks a subject for consideration... then the rest of us (you), give your opinions on what the 4 definitive examples of that subject are.. and then the guy who picked the topic (me), gives you the correct answer. As an example, the Mt Rushmore of Vin Diesel movies would be xXx, the fast and the furious, Pitch Black, and Boiler Room. Okay, so here we go, we'll start things off with a bang.. this mt Rushmore is likely to cause fist fights, all over the forum..Today's Mt Rushmore is.. what is the Mt Rushmore of Coen Brothers Movies?BigDMcGee's Mt. Mr Belvedere is on there. So, this show is about a Royal Butler , who gets canned from his job, and is hitchhiking, in Cleveland of all places, and devotes himself to being the bulter of a sports writ

Yeah, know your audience BigD. This audience is cool with the nazis, but what we're not fond of is men dressing up as women in order to trespass.

you sack of shit.

I think Fargo, The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men are no doubters (even though Fargo wouldn't be on my personal Rushmore). I think Raising Arizona is the fourth. Hudsucker, Barton, and Serious Man just miss the cut.My personal Coen Brothers Rushmore is is Lebowski, Country, Burn After Reading, and Hudsucker. I think. For now anyway.

I'm going to go with my favorite 4 Coen Brothers movies.Fargo, O Brother Where Art Thou (Loved the music), No Country For Old Men and Miller's Crossing

I think I gotta go with vu-man-chu on the main ones. I like o brother more than all of them except no country, but those first ones are the most "coeny" ones.

so close.
You've got too many movies in the same general time period. That's why I went with Raising Arizona as the 4th; you need one of their first movies and I thought that was the most identifiable one. I can't really argue with Miller's Crossing.
DJ VU... you get next topic.
I'm unprepared!Ok...the Mt. Rushmore of fast food chains. (Fast food is defined as any restaurant that doesn't have waiters.)

I just picked my 4 favorites. I guess I see your point. I would choose Miller's Crossing over Raising Arizona.McDonald's, Wendy's, In and Out, KFC?Edit: McDonald's and Wendy's are the two no-doubt choices I think.

it's all four food groups you jack-legged nincompoops. burgers, chicken, tacos, and pizza. the whole world is represented! the important parts anyways. plus subway sucks.

I had burger king, but then I saw subway and slapped my head, of course, so I quick changed it to subway, hope I got that in fast enough. That's how you play Mt Rushmore, kids.
Heh, I was writing a post before you changed it. This is what I was about to say (and, um, I guess I'm saying anyway):McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King are too similar in my opinion and McDonald's crushes them. I think McDonald's, Subway, and Taco Bell are the no-doubters. I have KFC as the 4th.I wanted to put In-n-Out up there, but it's too regional.
