I Called In Sick Today

Recommended Posts

I hate when I'm in a bit of a hurry and decide to poop to get it out of the why to avoid a situation like that, but it just takes forever and you can't quite commit to being done but if you don't youre going to be late.

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

and after 3 days, he is risen!

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

You just made the list buddy. Welcome. The rest of you could learn something from guapy, he knows how to make moves. Awesome moves.

I waited until I got home so I could take my time and enjoy this poop. Def a good decision.

sorry guys but currently I'm too busy hating my current job, searching out new jobs at other companies, and realizing that ten years into my career I am still not qualified for entry level positions.

You have a gi? Karate or jujitsu?

So I decided to apply for a third time for the position I've been passed over for twice. Mainly just to see how ridiculous the rejection notice would be this time. However, I rocked the interview even though I know my bitch supervisor that's been taking credit for my work/ideas tried to sabotage me. Just got the call with an offer of a 9% raise, which when coupled with the 3% I got a couple months ago, puts me at the salary target I had for this year. Sorry Shake. The downside is that this will delay my opportunity to tell the bitch to wash my balls with a warm wet rag since I'll still see her around frequently.

can still rape her though

and ron you're not far off considering I just got my county tax bill and I now owe over $1,000 in personal property taxes for my two shitty vehicles and my shitty house. sure would like to see the thousand dollars worth of benefit I get from living in this shitty town.

I think I just realized why I have always had an issue with shake talking about his home. He refers to where he lives as a town and I have always pictured it as an unincorporated area just west of banjo playing kid.

Well. Those are STATE taxes, no? But that sucks. Living in FL with no taxes like that is nice. I mean, we have property taxes for homeownership, but I've never gotten a tax bill for owning a damn car. WTH?

edit: ron, no, local, ie town and county, taxes. I meant government in general when I said "not far off."

the smell I have no idea. leading theory is a skunk, but the inside of the house didn't smell like a skunk at all. smelled like mold or mildew or something. but the reason I say a skunk is because when I went outside early the next morning, I could smell one. then I saw one hit in the road a couple hundred feet from my house. no idea how it would smell different but the smell's completely gone now so I'm not really sure what else it could have been.

Name a cartoon where he isn't, though.

Or maybe now you're just used to it? Better invite a lady friend over to check.

I'm with Ron. I've never heard of paying personal property taxes on vehicles. And I lived in CA for 35 years. Didn't realize there was a tax they hadn't thought up yet. A couple of the nice things about living in WA is that there is no income tax and car registration runs about $55 a year for a car and $75 for a truck. Property taxes on the house are crazy high though. It seems like car registration in CA was always a couple hundred bucks...and they have income tax...ugh.

Speaking of CA. I'm leaving here Friday morning. Going to get to Sacramento area and spend Saturday with my in-laws, nieces and nephews then head to So Cal Sunday. I have an Aunt and Uncle that live down there and they've said I can stay with them, rather than getting a hotel, while I look for a place to rent. Be nice to be around family rather than stuck by myself. Hopefully it'll only be a month or so before I can get a place and come back for the wife and daughters. Start work 8:00 am Monday. Will be nice to get back to work but not looking forward to leaving the family behind when I go.

You don't have to register your vehicle in Florida or California!? I doubt that's possible. Registration fees are property taxes on vehicles. The fees are based on value just like houses.
