pezeveng 207
Lets do this one day: http://www.espn.com/...ers-worth-28000 I would take the points. I still feel like Atlanta wins this.
GOCUBSGO 77
I've been so bored during the week that I've been doing some small NBA wagers. I've hit on a couple decent parlay bets so far. 4 team NBA parlay tonight: Pistons (-2.5) Bucks (+6.5) Thunder (+14.0) Pacers (+2.5)
Babying 613
Just a fyi The Green Bay Packers are way behind schedule. According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, the Packers' charter plane to Atlanta for Sunday's NFC Championship Game vs. the Falcons was unable to take off at Green Bay's Austin Straubel International Airport because of dense fog. This forced the team to bus 125 miles to Milwaukee in order to fly out. The Packers were originally supposed to leave at 2 p.m. CT. After waiting two hours, the Packers decided to take a bus to Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport, which is where the team plane touched down. Because of the delay, the Packers won't arrive in Atlanta until after 7 p.m. ET. Sunday's NFC Championship Game is scheduled to kick off at 2:05 p.m. CT. It will be the first of two conference championship games with the AFC Championship Game kicking off at 5:40 p.m. CT.

Dubey 1,035
I watched the video. I've never been at a craps table that allowed a throw that didn't hit the other side of the table. Maybe I am underestimating how distracting the betting sequence was to the dealers. But the throw they showed didn't even come close to hitting the end of the table.

True but I have been at the table when they don't hit the other side of the table. The dealer would than mention to the thrower to make sure you hit it next time I know I would have caught on immediately of what they are doing. It is amazing they got away with it for so long

gruven 530
Wouldn't the eye in sky cost these casino employees there job if they help in compromising the action? they are unionized. You'd have to prove complicitness in order to fire them. Generally it's a warning for not following house rules. A couple of warnings get you suspended. However, if they could prove you were in on it.....
Zach6668 513
I got Falcons 5, Pats 1 and Falcons 9, Pats 8 in super bowl squares. Am I doomed?
Dubey 1,035
I want to say 5, and 9 are bad numbers in general, but I have no data to back that up
Dubey 1,035
just looked it up. Based on past super bowl scores (which I'm sure is not optimal), 8 is actually worse than 9, but yeah, your numbers suck. out of the 9 possible numbers, they rank 5,6,7,8 our of 9. as far as combos, 5 and 1 has happened 4 times, 9 and 8 has happened once. (out of 200 possible "end of quarters" over the 50 super bowls)
Zach6668 513
I imagine it would be better to run it against all scores over the last decade or something. Not just Super Bowls... or are they that different of a beast?
Dubey 1,035
yeah I would definitely agree with you. I think it would take way more than 50 games for the numbers to normalize. Alas, the only study I stumbled across just used past super bowl games
MapleLeafpoker 1,462
are the "squares" game always for each quarter and final score? im sure 5+9 suck for 1st quarter, but maybe not that awful for full game? I dont know, im just talking out of my ass, im tired. lol
Zach6668 513
This one is $100 for each of the first three quarters, and $200 for the final. 50/50 split for one of the charities we seem to support pretty often at work, so it's all good.
GOCUBSGO 77
Those don't seem like good numbers, but who knows. 9 reminds me of a $100 fantasy pool I used to be in...money was divided up evenly over the course of the regular season....and you randomly drew one NFL team each week. If that team scored exactly 19 points, you won the pool for that week. If a team failed to score 19, it rolled over until the next week until one did. I think we only had 2-3 winners all season. Nice payouts though.
Babying 613
I woke up this morning and have cold feet. I have too much info going through my head. I don't know what to bet
Dubey 1,035
I don't think there is a sharp bet on the super bowl. Pats -3 is a good line. Maybe under 58.5 but that's no fun
Dubey 1,035
The fun bet is Falcons ML +
FCP Bob 1,312
The fun bet is Falcons ML +135 bet the team you want to see win and this is as good a reason as any to not want the Pats to win http://youtu.be/nV9JHX40k2A

Babying 613
The neighbourhood heard me and my buddy of 30 years screaming extremely loud after the Pats go the 2 point convert to tie up the game at 28. He than left my house and did not watch the end of the game.

NOT ME! Sorry left some details out. Crazy night. My throat is still sore. Yes we bet the over. He is a die hard Miami fan and I am a Jets fan. We both can't stand Brady etc. Our number was 57. When the game was tied up we were jumping up (hugging each other) and down in my basement while Otto was watching. He had to work early tomorrow morning and he lives in Markham. After the game my bookie text me to settle up tomorrow. Let's just say the sum I will be collecting is extremely nice. Enough to take the family of 5 on a nice vacation.
