  1. How does the site know when someone is using a bot?Why sholuldn't people be warned that bots exsist and about the possibility of playing against bots?
  2. Is using a bot for playing poker on line cheating at poker?
  3. Bots are now available for sale. Has anyone found a winning bot program?Have you used a bot in tournaments yet? At what stage of a tournament would you take over for the bot. What is the win rate? What limits do you use them at?Just curious! For those of you that do not know what a bot is, it is a computer program that is designed to play poker, making decisions, based on pot size, pot odds, versus number of outs, offering a winning expectation.I have been told there are bots that actually learn.

  5. I've played No Limit Hold-em (cash game) with Daniel and have made my living at poker lots longer than Daniel. Get the stardust out of your eyes children. Maybe, I know something you kids don't and am attempting to tell the truth.Let Daniel answer - I don't believe Daniel would lie about the truth.Daaa
  6. The responses seem to come from Children who want to ignore the facts of the real poker world. Perhaps they should deal in reality and why internet poker/gambling is banned.Daaaaa
  7. I see several posts about Daniel N's success at tournament poker. It appears to me, those posts are very one-sided. There is a difference in gross and net income. Look at Stu Ungar. Stu could not beat cash games and was famous for losing his poker tournament money in side bets, golf bets, sports betting among other ways (like drugs). Evil Kneivel is another such person who made tons of money (and still makes some off his name) but blew unbelievable amounts golfing and other ways. Phil Ivey another who fits that description = action junkiesPoker Tournaments are not Daniels only source of
  8. You have just described one of the "traps" of poker - bankroll mismanagement - playing too high -steaming = tilt = bank roll gone.Ask yourself, if I blow this $2,000 then what - my suggestion - realize how important the $2,000 is to you - then decide to start over playing good and grinding back your former bankroll.OR sit in a bigger game, take a coin flip hand in a big game and see if you can get lucky and win that hand - realize - you want to win three or four coin flips in a row (difficult to do) to get your bankroll back to where it was. That's poker baby!
  9. DanielWith the LA Poker Event going to be so large, will you take "savers" with some of the other players in the main event? How about last longer bets? Also, playing the large no limit games in the Commerce can be dangerous - same players every day looking for new money = lots of soft playing, collusion, passing chips. Will you play cash games around the tournament?Jamie G just took another lesson this past week at the Commerce, I think he only lost $ 200 K - Phil was stuck pretty good too in that game. When you say you win x amount at a tournament, does it include some of the actions I mention
  10. How many of you actually keep records? If you think you won't go busto as a poker player, you are not dealing in reality. The units change as you move up the poker ladder, the game is the same, the players are better. The number one reason good poker players go busto is, playing too high for their bankroll. Improper bankroll management!Good LuckMontana
  11. Hustler or Huckleberry!Doesn't matter the game, what matters to the sociopath gambler is if he wins. Ask the old guy with a crutch, he's no angel!
  12. What's a matter, afraid of playing golf or poker with the old guys? What do we know?Let's play some golf!Montana
  13. Golf versus Poker. Are they games of skill or games of people reading. Is improving ones game cheating?Negotiating the bets, strokes, side bets, based on skill and street smarts is what golf is about. What is the difference with poker. Golf bets are won or lost before the game is played. What about poker? Why does the big poker game rotate games? Because different egos think they have an advantage.Playing the game is execution of who is the best negotiator (hustler versus huckleberry).Anyone out there besides Daniel N. that did not know the old man on a crutch golfing has been hustling golf lon
  14. I keep reading about and meeting so many so called young poker professionals in brick and mortar places in todays new poker world that are under 26 years old.I am wondering how many of you out there in the 18-26 age group have "emptied out" playing poker? How do you youngsters "replenish" your bank rolls when empty? How much time do you spend playing poker? What limit/level of poker do you play? Cash games or tournaments?Does the pressure of the possibility of internet poker closing down in the US make you go to a brick and mortar house to play?Would appreciate some honest answers...no fl
