Petoria wins $5.30 with 5 4 3 2 A (low).----------------------------------------------------------------This was pretty fun for me considering my first 5 cards made the wheel. Even better than that it held up to raises for the high. I think I maximized my profit on this hand, but I really wish that guy would've not raised on 6th street. Was there anyway to get another bet out of this one?

You played it right, got about as much out of it as you could. It's amazing what people raise with, a pair of aces  . I love stud h/l, been playing it about 3-4 months now. It's a very easy way for me to make money.

good hand, and good post, but if i can make one comment, i would have capped on sixth street:6th street: sabre74kkn: -- -- Ah 7d 5c As ElectricPrune: -- -- 3d 9s 7c 3s NYATES: -- -- Kd 2s Ac 2c Petoria: 5h 3c 4h 2h Ad 8c sabre74kkn bets $.50. ElectricPrune folds. NYATES calls. Petoria raises to $1. sabre74kkn re-raises to $1.50. NYATES folds. Petoria calls. let's consider his possible hands...high:- boat (hole cards would be 55 or 77, all the aces are out). this means he has no possible low, and you have a guaranteed half of the pot.- trips are not possible since all the aces are out.- aces up (hole cards would be 5x or 7x). this means he again is drawing to only half of the pot, and you have a guaranteed half of the pot, and more probable scoop if he doesn't fill up.- wheel draw (hole cards would be 23, 24, or 34). he is drawing for a gutshot (of which you have one of his outs), and unless he hits it, you have a definite scoop. there is no way he can scoop, so again, you have a guaranteed half of the pot and more probable scoop if he doesn't hit.- nothing. he has no draw to beat your 5-high straight, and he has no wheel draw to take down the low either. you have a guaranteed scoop.why not cap here? it just doesn't make any sense. you are guaranteed half of the pot, and much more often than not, you will scoop the pot (and in one case, if he has a wheel draw and hits, you can still three-quarter if you get a 6).i REALLY didn't understand the call when i was reading that. i was thinking, "what??? he has the best possible hand right now, and his opponent is drawing dead to a scoop and can at best win half the pot. why in the world would he only call here???"i guess it was just in the moment, that you didn't have time to think about the situation, so learn from your mistakes. you could have earned one more big bet here, not too big of a deal, but you didn't maximize your profit.good luck, aseem

3rd street is fine, I would even reccomend one bet her instead of calling because all of your outs at this point are live. But calling is fine and just calling the raise is good.4th street - very good raise. All your straight outs are live except one ace and you picked up a backdoor flush draw. 5th street - good bet. if there was a pair on the board here i would reccomend a check/raise, but good read on the situation and nice bet.6th street - you simply have to cap. you have the nut low, which isn't being quartered on sixth street, which already means you are probably takin half the pot. and with all the aces in play, your villian has to have pocket 5s or pocket 6s in the hole. if this were true, he would have raised 4th or 5th street, which he did not. so looking at this hand on sixth street, there is no way you don't have the scoop. you HAVE to cap when you have information that tells you that you are currently winning the high and the low.7th street - correct raise.nice pot.
