i have about 7 books on poker and after reading about 3 of them they all seem to fall in and say the same stuff, is zen and the art of poker different? and i play mostly no-limit, is the book based towards a certain type fo game, or just all poker in general?-thx

i also read the book and found it very usefull, but one thing i think helps alot is, sometimes when you have a good hand you get "tunnel vision" and stop thinking about anything else but how can i get the most money out of this hand, (well i do this, at least sometimes.) You should especially look for tells to see if your opponent has a monster in these situations beacuse you are much more likey to lose a huge pot.-if any of that made sense :?

of course as with all play money online poker games it might lack realism in that area (online play) :? regardless ill give it a try!

ok so i've played like three 5+1 party poker multi table tourneys (around 1500 - 2000 people) In all three tourneys i played in so far i do pretty well throughout the first hour and a bit. When the blinds hit 25-50 i usually have about 4000 in my stack while most poeple are from 800-2500. However in all three tournaments i seem to take a dramatic turn for the worse right at that point and almost always end up in 300-450'th place anyone have any suggestions? regarding my strategy i usually play pretty tight through the first bit of the tourney, then i figure when the blinds get signifigant i ca

hey i know some of us here have accounts on partypoker, and was wondering if some people wanted to try and play together a bit, mabey offer advice to others if they are making obvious mistakes, and just have some funany interest?

hey, im also on party poker my bankroll isn't as impressive as yours probably. i just play the 5+1 sit and goes, and seem to have the same problem as you ill win a few in a row, get up to $70, then down to $15 and so on. with all these big swings it seems like im always "on the respirator" so to speak. i dont play limit but if the limit SnG's are as easy as you make them sound mabey i could use them to build my bankroll??? mabey us party poker guys could get together and plays some cheap SnG's together someitme? i'll post about the idea in a new thread and see if people are interested?

well it looks like i found a sor tof answer to my own question, but if anyone else is interested, it appears that they are commign out with a season 2 dvd, and probably soon too! but it also says its goign to be an 8 dvd set....??? mabey this info isn't reliable but i would love to believe it is. if anyone else knows anythign please post it, thanks...http://www.dvdtown.com/announcement/worldp...ourseason2/1347

im on a losing streak as well on party poker , everytime i pick up kings someone either seems to have aces or hits trip 3's on the flop

does anyone know when or if they are gunna come out with wpt season 2??? didn't they just finish season 3, whats the holdup?

hmm i also ordered that set of ebay recently, also about ripping the dvd's on to the computer, i have a dvd burner in my laptop so i think i can do that but i dont know how, or if its legal? any info would be helpful and i could get those videos on the net somehow for you guys
