I would probably call here as it looks like you have great implied odds if you hit the nuts. They have a big enough hand to call you if you hit the flop and you can just check fold if there is nothing.

If I was playing it I would have called the 600 then bet about half the pot on the flop. If he reraised me I would fold. Is this too passive or do I want to see the turn that bad. To me it looks like he has AA-QQ already since his high overbetting. Am I not seeing a weekness here?

I agree that it doesn't really matter what the buy in is if 2 or 1 player goes all in and you only have A high its an easy fold. If you hit the king on the flop though its a whole different stories and the buy in should be considered as they are probably going all in with a weaker A or a lower pair.

I think looking for hands and information on here and other forums are your best bet. Here and cardplayer are where I frequent and there is an abundance of information at both sites. Also make sure you take all the information and tweak them to make it your own.

Theres only 2 options push or fold. I don't put him on AA or KK as he probably would have raised more before the flop. I can definitely put him on 99, TT, A5s or even 5,5 because of his betting. I would probably fold and wait for a better spot. Tell your friend to be more agressive pre flop unless he has a really good read on his opponents. A side note pushing isn't all that bad, even more so if you know he's loose and likes to see flops.
