slink 1
It's time. Spring training starts this in a few weeks. Halos have 5 starters that have the ability to win 15+ games each. They basically have 3 #2 caliber starters (maybe not Santana, but he could rebound to allstar caliber), an ace and a very good #5. Both Saunders and Weaver have won twice as many as they have lost in their career (much better than the attitude that was Lackey-GG Red S0x) They will not send a slouch out there on any day, unlike the rest of the west.Don't see how they don't win another shot at the WS.Aybar, Morales, Kendrick, Napoli-Mathis, Hunter, Rivera, Abreu, and chop-suey. A solid lineup. If Wood doesn't produce, I expect they will make a deal like they did for Texieria and Kazmir in the last 2 years at the deadline.

slink 1
Things are not looking so good. Worst spring training record in the AL. Only the Nat's surpass the Angels' for worst in spring training. I'm a bit worried.
JoeyJoJo 18
Things are not looking so good. Worst spring training record in the AL. Only the Nat's surpass the Angels' for worst in spring training. I'm a bit worried. This article is a bit old, but I'd guess there hasn't been a significant change. Basically, spring training record has no correlation to regular season record. slink 1
Baseball Prospectus has picked the Halos last in the west according to the MLB network @ 79-83, 5 games behind the Mariners. LMFAO! An 18 game deficit from last year. Don't see the Angels winning less than 90 games this year, good enough for the West for sure. Santana will make a comeback, Saunders and Kazmir will continue their late season success, Weaver will dominate and show he is the ace, and Piniero will be .500 at least. Last time the Mariners were picked to win the West the Angels won 100 games.

slink 1
Figgins, batting .217 for Seattle so far.He must still think it's the postseason. As far as the Wood experiment goes, I think you gotta give him the rest of the month b4 we can consider him a bust. THough I didn't think he would hit. I wonder if they are thinking of Napoli at 3rd?
