Rawrr 0
I don't really play tournaments often, usually just on Sundays. Anyways, I had a few hands that I was unsure about, because I'm a noob when it comes to tournaments.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 40/80 Blinds (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comUTG+1 (t3395)MP1 (t3175)MP2 (t2850)MP3 (t2650)CO (t2830)Button (t6179)Hero (SB) (t2255)BB (t6500)UTG (t2085)Hero's M: 18.79Preflop: Hero is SB with A, KUTG bets t200, UTG+1 calls t200, 5 folds, Hero raises to t2255 (All-In), 3 foldsTotal pot: t68022$ Tournament on FTP, my question is should I have called here, or was shoving the best play? I was pretty happy with pushing here, but the stacksizes were about the size that I feel really awkward playing, so I would like some input on it.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 60/120 Blinds (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comMP1 (t2700)MP2 (t3415)MP3 (t2470)CO (t2710)Button (t4130)SB (t9724)Hero (BB) (t2885)UTG (t5540)UTG+1 (t1565)Hero's M: 16.03Preflop: Hero is BB with A, KUTG bets t360, UTG+1 raises to t1565 (All-In), MP1 raises to t2700 (All-In), 6 folds, UTG calls t2340Flop: (t7145) K, 7, 9(3 players, 2 all-in)Turn: (t7145) K(3 players, 2 all-in)River: (t7145) 8(3 players, 2 all-in)Total pot: t7145Same tournament. I almost never fold AK preflop, but given the play, I was pretty certain I was behind. That being said, looking back, I still would have had pretty decent odds to call even without. Hopefully I'm not being results oriented, since I actually was behind, but this sort of bothered me for a while since I probably should have gotten it in. So basically, was my fold the worst thing in the world, or was it okay/just a little bad?Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 120/240 Blinds 25 Ante (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comMP2 (t16805)MP3 (t1075)CO (t13841)Button (t3355)SB (t6901)Hero (BB) (t2740)UTG (t8250)UTG+1 (t13738)MP1 (t4364)Hero's M: 4.68Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, J1 fold, UTG+1 bets t720, 1 fold, MP2 calls t720, 1 fold, CO calls t720, Button calls t720, 1 fold, Hero raises to t2715 (All-In), 2 folds, CO calls t1995, Button raises to t3330 (All-In), CO calls t615Flop: (t11160) 7, A, Q(3 players, 2 all-in)Turn: (t11160) 5(3 players, 2 all-in)River: (t11160) 9(3 players, 2 all-in)Total pot: t11160Same tournament again... UTG+1 was opening a huge range, like 80% at this point and with so many limpers, I figured I had pretty good odds to push here even if I got called. I was pretty shocked when 2 limpers called and turned over AK and AQ. Was this a good move in this spot that just turned out poorly?
outsider13 0
Hand 1 ipits.Hand 2, I don't think a fold is that bad tbh. I really doubt you are ever ahead here, and you are usually sharing a lot of outs. Given the action, I like a fold even though I rarely fold AK.Hand 3, not sure I like it. You don't have any fold equity given the bloated pot. You don't even have a psb. Often times you are going to play this 3 or 4 way, and with hands that crush you. If you are going to reshove lighter, do it in a spot where you have a bit of fold equity and you can potentially win it pre.

Mercury69 3
1. ipits. You could get tricky and flat, re-assess on the flop (or even just shove the flop regardless) but you almost have to hit, at that point.2. Based on some recenet experience, I think I'm folding this one. A raise, a RR shove and a call all spell out big pairs and/or duped A's and K's. Say what you will about AK, it's value is vastly diminished with this kind of action.3. Hate it. Sure, maybe you have two live cards, but you probably don't. You're probably better off with 78 sooted in a situation like this (probable multiple opponents and a relatively weak hand). Fold, wait for a better spot. And, no, ou shouldn't be shocked with what the limpers turned over.
tbrick412 0
hand 1 is good. flatting sucks, 3betting to like 800 kinda sucks too, just slug it in cuz we're almost never dominated here and good alot of the time.hand 2. i fold here but i'm a nit.hand 3 - couldnt fold this hand fast enough. your jam is never getting folds really.
