Just PechiePosted 10 minutes ago by SantanaBandanaJustin Pechie opened to 2,300 with the button and Paul Wasicka defended his big blind. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Wasicka checked to Pechie who continued for 2,700. Wasicka check-raised to 7,600, Pechie moved all in for 22,700 and Wasicka called.ShowdownPechie: {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}Wasicka {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}The {2-Diamonds} smacked on the turn giving Wasicka a better flush, and after the {3-Clubs} bricked on the river, Pechie was eliminated.Wasicka is off to a nice start, and now sits with 56,000 chips.GG looshle

In a hand that extended deep into the break, the Main Event now boasts a new chip leader with over half a million in chips!Marco Johnson opened to 3,200 and Kevin Gates made the call before an opponent three-bet to 11,000.With the action back on Johnson, he made it 27,000 to go, and again Gates made the call as the three-better folded.Johnson led out for 52,000 on the Qs 10d 6d flop and Gates made the call as the 10s landed on the turn.Johnson moved all in for roughly 225,000 and Gates immediately made the call for his remaining 194,000.Johnson: QdJdGates: KQoWith Gates in the lead, Johnson would need any diamond or jack to take the lead, or plenty of other cards to chop it up.Unfortunately the river of the 9h was greeted by Johnson looking skywards in shock at the pot that had just played out.As Gates raked in the pot to move to 550,000, Johnson slipped down to 32,000 in chips.
God bless Chris Moneymaker.

All aboard the Orient Express?

Johnny Chan was faced with a 5,500-chip bet from an opponent with the board reading [8d 6d 6c. Chan called. The turned and Chan's opponent led for 11,500. Rather than calling, Chan raised to 24,000 this time, inducing a fold from his opponent.Chan is our chip leader once again with an astounding 580,000 chips
