1.2% on my savings account, about 2.3% on my money market.
  1. Also, DO NOT MEAN TO SOUND MEAN, but you're being ignorant if you think that it has no maintenence fees. What about the huge servers they must run? Plus rooms to keep the servers up. Plus, the skill level of a technical person proably exceeds the skill level of a dealer, so they demand more pay. Plus, they probably have to pay the merchants who provide credit card etc. support. Going bak to the servers, updates, and repairs, maintenance, etc. Considering there are millions of users, there has to be bandwidth, and hardware to match that. It's not cheap.
  2. Well, here's a quick way to find it roughly.Look at table stats. Each table, figure out # hands per hour. Then, look at stat for avg. pot size. Derive rake for a single pot. Multiply # hands per hour times derived avg. singular rake. This is the rake per hour for one table. Then multiply by number of tables for that particular limit.Again, it's approximate.
  3. If not, you're not supposed to be gambling. (In most states). SO my advice is to say.... you earned the income through..... experiments in statistics and human psychology when faced with the potential to lose or win money.... ? ?I figure that's a good bs. careful with the over 21 thing though...
  4. And I don't understand why no one on this site believes that you actually win money....lmao. Yeah, one has so much to do with the other. I would a ss rape you in a NL ring game. Also, usually anyone that brags such as this, I have found chronically, that they are talking out of the same a$$ they claim to a$$-rape. Again, along the same odds you overlook when playing heads-up, the same people you claim to a$$-rape, if you play them, or play enough, you're bound to get a$$-raped yourself in time. Not anything bad about your style of play. Just a rule of the odds, and statistics, which is unavoi
  5. It's heads-up/short handed. It could be a brililant play. Short-handed, the odds are so much better to not catch a hand then to catch one preflop. It's the 3rd degree rule Sklansky talks about. Does my opponent have a hand? Or does he think I think he has a hand? Or do I think he thinks he thinks I think I have a hand? etc. Calling his all-in was probably a sound strategy to throw his opponent off-balance. ESPECIALLY short handed, you don't want to become predictable and only call with AA. Otherwise, you'll definitely get outplayed in the future.
  6. Ok. Everyone knows how to calculate pot odds when you're looking for one card to complete your hand. Ex. You hold suited A K, flop is 2 of your suits, etc.Now here's the trick, and something i really could use as advice. What are/ how do you calculate the odds for when you need runners?Ex. You hold Ace of clubs and K of diamonds, flop comes 2 clubs and one rag. What are the odds that the next two cards (runners) will be 2 clubs to finish your flush draw? Thanks so much in advance. I understand the odds will be considerably less favorable, but am curious by how much and if there is a "handy " cha
  7. The Krablar is NOT about feeling... it's about faith.. and it's also about timing... Indiscriminate Krablar play, reguardless of position, table image and game situation is just dumping money on a terrible, terrible hand. Please save your stories of when you could have played krablar, and won or lost or what ever.... Here's the thing about Krablar that is most important.... It is a DISASTER not to show Krablar... that is why generally you want a short handed pot, so you can drive the betting the whole way... if you do, and Krablar is unimproved, one of two good things will happen..
  8. I only pray, my friend, that you are at my table and do the Krablar. I LOVE laughing at the table. (Just hope i'm not the one that's krabbed).HAHAHAHHAHA MAN OH MAN. If the Krablar shows up on a WPT show, you are officially my hero.hahhahahahahhahhahahahah
  9. almost the exact same things that make a live-player stand out. Patience, tenacity, instinct, coolness, thinking in the long-term, not the short term. Etc.You'll notice some "playas" among the players.Cooler heads prevail in online poker.

  11. The point she was making in the article wasn't necessarily that he was fat, it was that he was rude (and coincidentally, fat). He was ru-at. Or Fat-ude.... F-ude...
  12. OK HERE IS MY POINT. you may be right. BUT.... HOW DOES THE SUPPosedly stereotypical VOICE-OVER OF An ASIAN correlate to the points you bring out? Does this one voiceover prevent an asian from becoming CEO????This is the butterfly effect in full and exaggerated effect. You're making a mountain out of a miniature molehill. Seriously, I admire your tenacity. But save it for times when racism is more apparent, blatant, and above all, HARMFUL, dude.
  13. Again, you are trying to equate our (Asian) problem with African-American's history. Racial and social equality?? Have you ever heard, sir, of the term "model minority"? It's not a matter of equality in the sense, that we are viewed by others as superiour in matters of business, education, and brain power. So, actually, rather than the other minorities' plight of working from "below" to get "equal", we are working from a pseudo-"above" to get down to equal. It's just not the right approach. Sure we've had our Vincent Chin's and our concentration camps, but equality is not the issue. We are not
  14. HEY BUDDY. You just contradicted yourself. You don't understand what it's like, yet you believe you would be offended????!??! How could you believe in something you don't understand???!?!I understand what it's like, and I'm not offended.Go figure.
