FCP Bob 1,312
Full Tilt Poker's New Flipout Tournaments I like this idea for people like me who don't have a lot of time to play tourneys. During the first round of a Flipout Tournament, all players automatically go all in to determine a winner. From there, the remaining players — the survivors — are reseated in regular multi-table tournament format and the event continues with a standard betting structure. The catch is that all of the players that win the flip in the first round are now in the money. "Full Tilt Poker is dedicated to the continual evolution of online poker to keep it fun, fresh and exciting; not just for our existing players, but also to help attract the generations coming up,” said Sarne Lightman, Full Tilt Poker’s Head of Marketing. “Flipouts are a game changer — literally unlike any other online poker tournament. Perfect for the time-poor player who wants to jump straight to the post-bubble action with a stack and blind levels that give them plenty of play." http://youtu.be/78yPMLZo1tY
king_tanner 84
This only sounds fun if I'm drunk... Which is most of the time. So sounds fun
GWCGWC 83
I would have played mad volumes of these.
SuperJon 175
It's a cool idea, and will definitely take less time than a standard MTT. But if the 2nd stage is just like a standard MTT with a good chip/blind structure, then it would still take a decent amount of time to complete.
hank213 1,823
let's argue with society for years about how poker is a game of skill more than luck. then remove that concept from the equation.
