There should be a feature to show you how much data each app is using over that time period. There is on my Android phone. From there you might be able to figure things out.

Get an unlimited plan. Limits are for poor people.

no such thing as unlimited LTE data plans in Canada. The only cell companies who offer unlimited data are the bargain ones with super slow data.

So far facebook is the highest at 2.4 gigs.

Your data depends on the apps you have continuously running in the bg, it's quite possible you've added new apps since you've switched over? Facebook per your example is likely refreshing often, go to the options and change the refresh interval timing or turn it off completely, do this with twitter as well.

You should also connect yourself to a wifi network while at home or at work which would prevent most of that usage.

My data usage has spiked the last couple months too. Wtf.

Zach I think I figured it out. In the 5 series of iphone all videos posted on facebook automatically play. So once you open facebook all these video's are being downloaded once posted by any of your friends.

Under settings you have to scroll down to facebook than in there you have 3 choices to play videos on, wifi only, or off. I would suggest you turn that off.

Amazing that none of the big carriers are telling people this. Both US and Canadian.
